This all round flat water board is without a doubt the most compact iSUP board on the market. Shorter than the incredibly popular 10’6″ Ride, and yet still very stable, the 9’6″x32″Compact allows similar ability paddlers to get on the water. But with it being much lighter and half the size of the Ride when packed down it really does allow you to take it places. After reviewing the Red Paddle Co Compact in January 2019 we’ve received lots of questions asking ” Is this just a flat water board or can it handle itself in the surf too?” We put this super compact board to the test with a small family surf day at the beach.
It won’t offer you as much performance or handle the bigger waves as well as the smaller Red Paddle Co Whip. But with its twin fin set up it’s easy to surf and turns well too. This is one iSUP that everybody can get something out of, and it’s a board you really can take everywhere.
