I recently purchased both the Maliko 25″ and the 27″ Inflatable Race Boards. Over the past 5 years, I have successfully raced and won in the Southeast US on various Inflatable boards, mostly 12′ 6″, including the Naish ONE. Inflatables can compete with carbon boards. All my old boards have been much more flexible than the new Maliko. My perception is that the stiffness may not be a plus in choppy conditions although it really makes it easier to surf small swells downwind. Great to hear your feedback. The question about board pressure and finding a sweet spot is a really interesting one. Really worth looking into. We will see what we can do, might be one for Bryce.
