Red Paddle Co Press Release: The world’s leading inflatable paddle board company, Red Paddle Co, have announced the date and location for the Dragon World Championships 2019. The world’s only dedicated team SUP competition will see teams of all abilities come together to battle it out on the 22ft four person Dragon board and revel in a what is set to be true celebration of SUP.The setting for the 2019 event has been hotly contested with SUP fans across the globe predicting where this year’s Dragon World Champions will be crowned. Since its launch in 2017, the DWC has kissed the golden sandy shores of Carlise Bay, Barbados and embraced the mystical mountains of Lake Fuschl, Austria. Now in its third year, Red Paddle Co have confirmed the Dragon World Championships 2019 will be held on the crystal-clear waters of Lake Annecy, France.

Nestled in the South Eastern corner of France, Lake Annecy is just 30 minutes from Geneva Airport and is no stranger to SUP. Home to the annual Alpine Lakes Gla Gla race the lake and surroundings provide the perfect location for what is set to be the most epic Dragon World Championships yet.
The competition entry opens on the 25th March 2019, and paddlers of all capabilities are welcome to sign up with no qualification required.
