The NEW well designed JP Australia Foil SUP

The new JP Australia SUP foil board has really caught our eye this year. This board has had some real input and shaping design from top waterman Keahi de Aboitiz. This brand new board really looks to be a great board to learn to foil on, as well as keep the more advanced foilers happy too.
Things like having the ability to add foot straps really helps new foilers find the right foot placement on the board. And its large EVA tail pad at the back of the board provides extra grip and back foot confidence by letting you know you are in the right place on the board. The bottom shape of the board is something like you would find on some of the worlds best custom foil board shapes… bevelled rails, good nose rocker and tail kick.

At a quick glance, overall we are very impressed and we can’t wait to give it a go!

For 2019 Werner has developed the dedicated Foil shapes with great input from Keahi. The boards are short for reduced swing weight during pumping and maneuvers. The extremely beveled rails help reduce the wetted surface at take-off and prevent the board from catching the water in the turns. The cut-out tail section on the bottom surface has the same purpose. The flat deck ensures stability. The pad features an increased arch line along the center so that you can feel the center of the board without even looking down. The pad tail kick is positioned perfectly for optimized foiling stance. The boards come with 2 foot-straps and foot-strap plugs.

The 2 track boxes for the plate mounted foils have a generous length of 33cm so you can also use the board for light wind windsurf foiling at the back position.
