Flat rocker for speed in flat water, but what about choppy water?
Good questions. If you’re talking about raceboards? You still would want flat rocker overall to keep the board as fast as possible. But the nose rocker will have to have more curve or be designed so that it doesn’t nose dive into the next wave. Having a bit more tail rocker can help this also when you are riding bumps at the back of the board as it brings the nose up. Flatter rocker is always fastest but but we need nose and tail rocker to control it in bumps. Makes sense? Thanks
