There are some iconic places to SUP and race around the world. A SUP in New York has to be right up there. This video from Oxbow and their team riders, the Teulade Brothers shows off some of the cool sites the Big Apple has to offer.
There is a SUP race in New York that is amazing. The Teulade Brothers flew to the US to participate in the SEA Paddle NYC. A 40km stand-up paddle race around the island of Manhattan. Equipped with the latest boards of SUP OXBOW 2018, this race was “the hardest physically and mentally” that the Teulades have made in their lives. Jérémy and Ludovic rowed for four hours on the East River and the Hudson River, facing the wind for more than 15km, on an unassembled body of water. A challenging race but an out-of-the-ordinary experience. The brothers saw the city like no one else. From its rivers, the vision of the skyline of Manhattan is unique. From this experience was born the project of a web series between the brothers Teulade and OXBOW. Called SUPin ‘this web series will make you travel within the biggest metropolises with Jérémy and Ludovic. An urban exploration mixing stand up paddle and discovery of the city. We start with this first episode: SUPin ‘New York. Words : OXBOW
