The world of SUP is growing at a fast rate, with new paddlers coming on the scene all the time in all disciplines of SUP. But in the SUP surfing world there are a few young guns who are really catching our eye and Jeffrey Spencer is one of them. At just 15 years old he is already getting a name for himself in the SUP surfing world, with his very solid surfing style. Jeffrey is calm and planted on a wave, which is quite unusual in younger surfers who are usually a bit more erratic!
Top Tip
Check out Jeffrey’s wide stance on the board. He rides very much like Sean Ponyter. Solid, low and planted. And good stance for making turns easier and producing speed, by shifting weight from the front to back of the board
Our money is on Jeffrey being up there with the future worlds best and maybe even at the top. But he still has to get though the girls and alcohol stage first so we’ll have to wait and see!!
