SUP surfing in mushy and choppy conditions is never easy. But there are so many great waves to be had if you can find them. Leco Salazar & Alexandre Takeo head out in some ruff stuff and catch a few beauties for their hard work. (Even if there is the odd prone take off!)
We would love to see how a SUP hydro foil would have performed in these conditions. No doubt the ride would have been smoother, but they wouldn’t be carving hard and busting off the lip!… or would they?
