As Autumn is around the corner and the rivers start to fill up, we can look to the moving waters for some SUP action. But remember it’s not just about having enough water to paddle. It’s about having enough paddling experience and the right gear too. Check out the Goldenboard crew’s white water trip in France, which gives you a good idea of how much gear you need to stay safe on white water… buoyancy aids, quick release leashes, helmets, body armour, throw lines and some good buddies to paddle with.
