Day 2 Chicago World Series Sprint Highlights
Day 1 Meet and Greet
The Chicago World Paddle Challenge is about to get under way.
Chicago is one of the most vibrant cities in the US, but is also bordered by the immense Lake Michigan, providing it with a very unique beach culture.
During the summer months when temperatures soar and the destination becomes more like a holiday destination than a City, North Avenue Beach is transformed into a phenomenal destination for the World Series, as the City opens its arms to the world’s very best athletes in a way that only Chicago knows how.
The long distance course consists of two laps that follow the City scape and provide a challenging and scenic inner city race, while the dynamic World Series Sprint course adopts the unique heat format and fast paced sprints to provide the athletes and spectators alike with an exciting and nail-biting finish to the weekend of racing.
The race also consists of a short course version of the long distance for entry level and youth paddlers as well as separate heat eliminations for the sprint racing at North Avenue Beach providing something for everyone at this unique stop on the Stand Up World Series. By : Watermanleague
