Zane Schweitzer is one of the main innovators in the SUP surfing world and has been for the last few years now. But Zane’s wild man style and his go for broke attitude doesn’t always get him on the podium.
When it comes to surfing in competitions it’s totally different to free surfing, and doing the turns and manoeuvres you need to get high wave score isn’t always easy.
But after a lot of time training focusing on his moves, and with his new super small Starboard board Zane finally managed to bring it all together.After claiming many perfect wave scores and finishing off with his signature 360s Zane well deserved his win at the Wadi Adventure Park. If Zane keeps riding like this throughout the year, it will be interesting to see where he finishes on the Stand Up World Tour for 2013.
