Sam Lee and Scott Palmer went on a SUP adventure with some Red Paddle Co iSUP’s in the South Island of New Zealand. A really well shot film that will inspire you to get exploring on your SUP. Nice one guys….
Here is what Sam had to say about the trip;
“With two inflatable stand up paddle boards rolled up in our back packs, Scott Palmer and myself set out on a bit of an adventure.
We drove up the Matukituki valley, to Cameron Flat, parked the car and crossed the river.
We walked in for about 3 hours, until the valley forked into two joining rivers.
That’s where we dropped in. I’m unsure of the name of the area, but I have marked the start/end and turn around points on a map at the end of the video.The paddle out took us about 1:30 to 2 hours.
It ended up being a much deeper river than anticipated, which made it easily do-able.
A few good rapids in one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been made for an amazing trip.
The added rain and cloud in the hills made it even more epic.
I’d love to do more like it!”
