Is this board appropriate for a beginner?
Yes it is. At 34″ wide it is very stable and would great for heavier riders over 75kg. If you’re a lighter weight rider under 70kg, consider a board that is 4.75″ to 5″ thick as this will enhance your paddling experience. Hope this helps.
Do you know if this is on the same quality level as the irocker cruiser model? Or is it more of the quality of a black fin or better quality?
We’re a family with children, my wife and I are each about 1.75 meters tall and each weigh about 65 kilo and would like to sup together and for doing yoga.
We were about to get an irocker cruiser but then found this stx sold locally but can’t find much info on it online.
Hi Simcha, I would say that the build quality is about the same build as irocker, But the board is overall a bit lighter. Not as many handles or other fixings which do put the weight up on the board. I would always pick the lighter board when it comes to paddling as a family. Just because theres aways so much to carry for a day at the beach and a lighter board always helps…
