What the brand says
The all-new Wedge line upgrades the previous range of Wide Point boards. These boards have a pro performance and feel without compromising stability or volume. All boards are 32’’ wide to provide float and stability for heavier riders to rip.
This is a versatile range for big to small conditions, best suited for beginner and intermediate riders.
NEW SHORTER NOSE OUTLINE
Makes it easier to rotate turns, tighter in the critical section of the wave, and makes it lighter to throw around through high-performance manoeuvres.

Thanks to this review and and an opinion piece on Seabreeze, ordered this board. After a week of ‘real world average Joe’ use I can only say I think you underplayed this board. Simply astonishing how good it is. For me it is how intuitive it is, super stable, yet super sensitive. Still stoked from today’s session. By the way, we had a 15+mph offshore and still never missed a ‘good’ wave and already has me surfing to a better standard than a week ago. Thanks.
Hey Paul, so good to hear you are super happy with your board. I do also think its a really good one.
Hi guys,
I am about 70 kg and have been on a 10’ isup surf longboard (140L) for a while. I would like to try and progress and looking for the next board. Around where I live most days we get 1-3 ft waves so I would like to get something that can also make use of that. Was wondering whether the 8 7 Wedge starlite would be suitable or should I go bigger e.g. 9 2 or 10 2?
Hi Siegk, Thanks for sending over your question. Because you are a lighter rider the 8’7 could be really good for you. You will still have a good amount of stability but not have a board that is too big and easy to use.
The good thing about a board like the Wedge is it will allow to progress loads before you will want to change down to maybe a narrower board in the future. Any help ? Thanks Reuben
