A very well made wing that offers great power and control in a wide range of conditions. The large handles give you plenty of control like a boomed wing, and the solid leading edge and rib make it a light wind pumping weapon!
An extra handle by the leading edge would be better it give riders more control in more wind strengths. The fixed profile shape can catch you out during manoeuvres like tacks if unaware. Less confident users winging in busy areas may want to have a window.
Buy if... you're wanting a wing to really progress with. It will give you the ability to get up in light winds and also guarantee to let you bust big air like Balz Muller!

What the brand says
ENSIS Wings are for surfers who want to push boundaries in wingsurfing. Your own and those of physics.
ENSIS Wings perform exactly the same in minimum winds and storms: with perfect flight stability, lots of power and maximum propulsion.
ENSIS Wings are simply fun - whether on the SUP board or with the hydrofoil. Thanks to their easy handling, even during assembly.
You will get on the water faster, have longer fun, learn easier and do better wingsurfing.
Hi Reuben. Cool review. I have had the ensis with windows (version before). Great wings. Now I have duotone units but thinking to go back to the ensis. By no means I find Duotone unit bad, I love it and its one of the bests wings I think and my ellbow… Read more »
Hey Ramon
Some great feedback in there and really good to hear you liked the Ensis in the passed.
Yeah there’s some stuff we can do around wind stiffness and leading edge size.
Top feedback thanks
PS, let us know if you get a new Ensis and it helps the elbows?! As you know I have a wingers elbow issue too ☹️
