Easy to use with enough power for most conditions. Light weight and easy to transport. Nice and quiet.
A limp home setting would be nice to have. A light indicator on the wireless controller would be good. And extra batteries for longer trips would allow you to go even further.
Buy if... you're looking for something to help you get further with less effort. But understand it is to be used as a bonus to make paddling easier not replace it completely!

What the brand says
Meet the latest generation of AQUA MARINA electric water propulsion device – BLUEDRIVE S. Explore a new way for remote locations with your paddle boards. The BLUEDRIVE S is an electric motor designed to fit almost all types of watercrafts with a fin box. It helps you to extend trips and save more energy when fighting against wind and current.
Hi I have brought this product, when it arrived, it came with a Us 2 pin plug. Can I plug that into a 250 13amp sup 3pin uk plug? Or what kind of converter do I need to buy?
Hi Susan Yes this should be ok .
I have just checked mine and it takes any input of 100-240v and 50/60Hz which is US and UK voltages. If you us an adaptor you will be good to go.

Hey Terri. At the moment I know they make an adaptor for a US fin box. But I don’t think they do make one for the Flip lock system.
But Aqua Marina have now started to use the same Flip lock system on some of there boards, so I guess this is something that they may make fit the Bluedrive power fin with too!
Nice design, and easy to install and use. Two major problems: the button battery (CR2032) in the remote runs flat super quickly. A couple weeks without using the system and empty it is :-(. The other problem is the battery pack: 30 or 60 minutes of runtime only. And there is no possibility to icrease this, unless you buy a second battery and you switch them while on the water. When you sit alone on a fishing kayak and have to move to the stern to change the batteries, this is not only inconvenient, it is dangerous. A bigger battery… Read more »
Thanks for your great feedback Jean. We have a newer system to test soon so we will see what that is like?
