Whether you are getting into SUP surfing or looking for a board that excels in smaller waves. the Paradox from SMIK SUP is a top choice. This board is loosely based from the E-Sea Rider by SMIK, but is much more refined and suits UK waves perfectly. The 10’3 length and flatter rocker makes the board glide effortlessly and you can catch just about every wave, alongside enjoying a leisurely paddle along your local waterway. The refined nose and tail allow this board to be surfed with ease, making it easy for both first time paddlers (between 80-95kg) and those intermediate riders (+95kg) to get into the surf.

What the brand says
“A board packed with all the attributes needed to maximise your time in the surf”
A board packed with all the attributes needed to maximise your time in the surf, whether it be getting in early on ankle biters or pushing your progression on some waist to chest-high longboard waves. The Paradox means you can do all this but still enjoy efficient flat water cruising with a drawn-out longboard outline. We have chosen the goldilocks width of 32”, providing more than ample, well-distributed volume that offers stability for a multitude of riders. Lighter riders likely have enough stability to enjoy a paddle with their dog or child up front, for those sunset cruises.
So often all-round boards lose their performance out of compromise, but the Paradox features a double concave bottom, performance thruster fin set up and a tail kick pad to make this one very competent longboard. We have worked hard to avoid thick chunky rails, often found on boards of this category. The thinned-out rails and balanced rocker line allow a wide weight range of riders to engage the rail during turns with confidence, further driving progression. Most importantly, you can pack this multitool for your adventure on the water and be sure to be smiling.
