The APP World Tour is thrilled to announce its return to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from 16th–21st December 2025, bringing the world’s best SUP surf athletes back to one of the Tour’s most iconic stops. Competitors will battle for World Championship titles across performance surf and longboard disciplines for Men, Women, and Youth.
On-site registration and the event opening will take place on 15th December, with competition kicking off the following day. Entries will open soon, along with full event details.
The Gran Canaria Pro-Am will feature both regular SUP and longboard formats for Men and Women, as well as Youth Championships highlighting the future stars of the sport. The event uses a dual-venue format, with La Cicer hosting qualifiers, youth events, and longboard rounds, and the main event taking place at El Lloret, a world-class point break that has delivered perfect conditions year after year.
Both venues are conveniently located along the Las Canteras waterfront, just a short walk apart, providing an excellent viewing experience for fans and newcomers alike.
Last year, Japan’s Taka Inoue and Argentina’s Luchy Cosoleto won the Performance SUP Surfing titles, while Benoit Carpentier and Kaede Inoue claimed SUP Longboarding honors. The U21 division saw Enrique Perez Serra (Spain) and Sakura Inoue (Japan) crowned Junior World Champions.
Mark your calendars and prepare to witness top-tier SUP action in the heart of Las Palmas this December 2025!
