Namur SUP Race 2024 – Euro Tour SUP

On the Women’s side , Kimberly Barnes finally got her maiden victory after being so close last week. She didn’t have it easy with Duna Gordillo finishing in second who pushed her all the way to the very last sprint. On another supremely impressive paddle Claudia Postiglione finished third after being all race in the font pack. Dropping slightly to 4th, after the first half of the race, was multiple times winner Petronella Van Malsen. Closing out the Top5 was Sveva Sabato with a supremely impressive paddle from the 14year old.

Making it back to back wins was Donato Freens showing his strength among a stacked field, marking also his second win of Euro Tour 2024. He didn’t have it easy with an all out sprint for the rest of Top5 right behind him.  In a super close battle separated by centimeters came Ethan Bry in second & in third Aaron Sanchez. Not far off in 4th was Fernando Perez. Closing the Top5 was Joep Van Bakel. Special mention to Ole Schwarz that matters from the finish line fell off the board to finish 6th.

The Kids/Juniors had once again great presence in Namur clinching coveted spots in the Top10 as well as setting new records with an 8yr old completing the Amateur race.

We really want to thank Bertrand and the whole team at The Flow Namur for the excellent welcome and successfully completing the longest running event on Eurotoursup. Also special thanks to Daniela from Deloitte for partnering up with the venue and help making the event a great success.
