Job Description:
As ISLE’s Associate Product Line Manager, you will serve in a cross-department role, collaborating with Design, Development, Logistics and Marketing teams. Your mission will be to reinforce ISLE’s position as the industry leader and disruptor in watersports by creating insightful and impactful product briefs informed by consumer insights and trends in the watersports market (and beyond). You’ll help to manage the line planning, pricing and product creation processes. You’ll spend time with partners and consumers learning the channels of distribution and conducting analyses of the current business.
To excel in this role you’ll need the following skills:
- Passion for watersports products and solving consumer problems.
- A willingness to rapidly assimilate and understand technologies and materials involved in the production process so they can be executed successfully as finished products.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Relationship builder with co-workers, customers and outside partners
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations
- Proficient information-seeking skills, ability to assimilate and effectively leverage a wide array of data and insights towards the creation of new products, product features and new categories
- Understanding of product costs, margins and profitability requirements
- Ability to take on additional responsibilities as the need arises as part of a small and nimble team
- Experience with MS or Google Suite, specifically Excel/Google Sheets, is required.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software (Rhino, Shape 3D, AutoCAD) is a plus.
