Thanks for this video Beau.Like all your videos I learn a lot. They keep me interested in SUP when I am too busy to get out there. Also, I am curious If you do a lot of prone long boarding as well? Do you have a preference ?To me Sup looks more doable for older broken bodies( me not you) but If I lived near surf I would try Prone long boarding. It looks so elegant when done by a good surfer especially females, ie Tina Cohen.
Hi Cam. I cam from a prone longboarding background before SUP and still do a lot of it in between SUP and short boarding. My preference really depends on how I feel on the day. I enjoy riding both SUP longboards and prone. Prone longboards are better for noseriding so if the conditions favour that, I’ll probably go prone. SUP long boarding is much better and easier on the body for paddlers. Thanks
