Quroc Qi Allwater 12’6 / Reviewed
RRP: £789
One of the best set up touring boards on the market today.
Pros: Fittings | Accessories | Speed | Tracking | The bungees are removable which allows you to resize and easily pack/access gear. There are multiple handles positioned around the board for easy manoeuvrability in shallow water. The accessories are great and the speed and tracking are really good.
Cons: The 30" width feels twitchy with less stable for heavier riders. The deck pad is also slightly slippery, but comfortable on longer paddles.
Consider buying if... If you are looking for a fast touring board for longer adventures. It is great value for money and you are supporting a brand that listens to their customers.
Quroc All Water 13′ 2023
RRP: £789
The most complete touring iSUP package we've seen so far.
Pros: Quroc have really thought about everything a SUP tourer needs. From a smaller fin, quick release leash for moving water and even a large dry-bag to carry all your gear.
Cons: The nose shape isn't as refined as other top end premium touring iSUPs and the graphics might not be for everyone. Quroc are a direct sell brand and not available in shops, so there's less opportunity to try before you buy.
Consider buying if... You want to buy into a board and brand to take you places. For the price this will be a great package to get you into touring.
What we say
Will and Beau took both of the Quroc All Water boards for a paddle and they were able to get a whole range of different conditions, from upwind, to side wind, downwind and flat calm conditions. They changed boards every few hundred metres which was the perfect way to understand exactly how these boards work, who they are going to suit and what type of conditions they excel in. In this comparison video, we dive into how the online shape, width, rocker and nose shapes affect the performance of each board on the water.
12’6
The 12’6 is more of a fast touring board. Expect the board to be quite twitchy when paddling, especially in those bumpy conditions. This does make it fast and it glides very well too.
13′
The 13′ is your expedition paddleboard. Set up for long distance paddling, this board is super stable and lends itself to riders looking for comfort and ease of use when paddling.
