I don,t wanna be an smartass but I own this board and would like to add that imo the Hypernut is more weight/size sensitive than the Pocket Rocket to get the best out of it. Being 92-95kg (depending on how much chocolate and cookies are at home ). I paddled the 7.4/7.8/8.4 and own a 7.10. Picking a too small size its really hard to balance and catch a wave, picking too big they are hard to burry the sharp rails at the tail. This is a top comment Jeroen. And I completely agree and maybe should of emphasised this more in the video. Also I can see how the smaller back fins are almost a little too loose. I found on the faster waves I really had to focus a lot more on the the top turns to not make the boards just slide out all of the time. Hey, so I know this is an old review, but there is a pocket rocket 2021 for sale, and I was wondering if advanced intermediate surfer 5’11” 90kg could use this to get more progressive. I am on a 125 liter fun board called the sunova steeze.
partially worried about the corkiness of 135 liter.
They Sean, I will that it may feel a bit dull for you and your ability. I wish that they just thinned out the tail rails a bit to make the board that bit less corky.
