I’m looking for my first iSUP to use with my family. I’m currently debating between the Red Ride 10’6″ with a carbon 50 nylon paddle and the Quroc 10’4″. It’s proving a tough choice! I like the simple styling of the Red and the carry bag is the nicest I’ve seen, but the price of the Quroc is hard to ignore.
Hi Spinny, Its worth search both these products in the equipment guide and hitting the compare button… https://supboardermag.com/equipment-guide/ You will be able to see how outline and key specs are different. Both these boards are good beginner boards, but have their differences. You will see outline shapes are a little different which probably give the Ride the edge with stability due to wider nose and tail, but the fin set up on the Quroc is better for tracking due to the 2+1 set up. A key difference is that the Red Ride is 4.75 inches thick. This will give a… Read more »
Hello, Did the review of the 4.75″ Quroc board get done? This is the board that I am currently considering as my first purchase, so I’d be interested in your verdict.

How would you compare them against each other?

Thanks. Compared, decided and purchase made.
Which board did you choose after comparing both?
What if you weigh less than 65 kg. Is there a shorter version of the crossover?
Hey Helen , You can still use the crossover. But some lighter riders may find that thickness of the boards is not needed. Have a watch of this video here : https://supboardermag.com/2016/08/12/what-thickness-isup-is-best-pros-and-cons/ . What do you want to use the board for … general paddling?
Hello Reuben, Have you tried the new 4.75 inch thick Qurocs yet?
We are about too. Hope to have a full video out soon.

Hey Tess Yes we did this video here https://supboardermag.com/2021/06/19/quroc-crossover-2021-range-compared-and-reviewed/ the 4.75 is a great board. Let me know if this helps or you have any others questions. Thanks Reuben
Is it possible to attach a kayak seat to these boards? I’m completely sold on this board otherwise!
Im sure you could rig up something or could stick an extra seat clip on the board somewhere. But you would have to do it yourself unfortunately.
