New World Record set in Russia – 844 paddlers

An impressive new World Record for the largest SUP parade has recently been set in Russia. On the 10th Sept 844 paddleboarders from the Vladivostok SUP community took to the water, in beautiful sunny conditions to paddle across the 1 mile (1.6km) inlet within the Sea of Japan. That’s a lot of people and a lot of kit!! An impressive record, sight, and level of organisation! The event was organised by Tretya Volna (SUP shop in Vladivostok) and Yana Ivleva (all Russian Federation). Well done everyone.
