The worlds best SUP surfer Caio Vaz has aways been a thruster (3fin) man but his new board shaped by Claudio Pastor moves the world chap away from the classic setup and on to a quad (4fins). Whether it’s thrusters or quads Caio has that style of shredding anything he rides. We look forward to seeing this board in action soon.
Note about quad fins
A quad fin setup generally makes the board have more grip on the wave face but also keeps the board more locked in. With certain board shapes it is not as vertical turning as a thruster. Good at producing a faster ride. The back fins are smaller than the front fins.
