One of the fastest SUPers on the planet, Starboard team rider Connor Baxter has been a professional waterman from a young age. First with windsurfing and then as SUP evolved he found himself competing on the world SUP stage. And he’s done a pretty good job at it too! Competing in the top level of the Stand Up World Series from the start in 2009 and winning his first Stand Up World title in 2014, beating his long time friend and rival Kai Lenny. But being top of your game doesn’t just happen… whoever you are! It takes hard work, determination and lots of water time!! Growing up and living on Maui Connor talks to Reuben from SUPboarder about getting into SUP and his average day when back home. Connor is a great ambassador for SUP, and explains how having fun is just as important as eating right and training hard… and never giving up!
