Surfing a 12’6 SUP can be great fun, but it doesn’t always go to plan… as Jon D discovered during his fun session following Cyclone Marcia! Jon D regularly surfs his 12’6” Lahui Kai paddleboard. But it’s not everyday you get barreled and well and truly hammered!!
The ever witty Jon D told us:
“I’m hoping I can have her Frankensteined back together as a board I can still use when the conditions get a bit out of control and not have to be too worried about snapping it again. Those Lahui Kai’s are the best performing 12’6 race boards for surfing on that I have come across.
She has been a loyal companion for the last couple of years and she’s now gone to the big paddleboard pointbreak in the sky. Looking forward to continuing her DNA in the next Millennium Falcon Mach II from Lahui Kai Paddleboards.”
