The Danish Viking, Casper Steinfath joined the Greek Naish Team and sailed to the beautiful Aegean Sea for a modern ODYSSEY. A difficult SUP crossing between two islands, paddling through open sea.
The journey started at Paros Island and finished 22 miles away to the most famous Greek Island, Mykonos. The escort sailing boat took the stress out of these courageous paddlers and kept them focused to their goal.
Lots of things happened during the crossing and only two managed to fulfill this hard mission. But as some wise told: “it’s not about reaching to the end. The journey is what matters most”. This fantastic SUP experience left something beautiful scared to everybody’s soul.
A big thanks to Greek SUPboarder Nikos Athanasiou for sharing this fantastic video of the SUP Aegean Crossing with us. Another great SUP challenge claimed and conquered from the islands Paros to Mykonos.
