Windy, offshore and closing out…

It may be howling offshore and closing out most of the time, but Kyron Rathbone still had a few nice ones to show for his hard work and nailings out in Tasmania. Kyron is riding a Fanatic 9’10” Semi Gun to get on them and it looks like he needed it.

In conditions like this it always looks easier from the beach. But when you get out there and there is a howling wind in your face and some funny side chop that wants to drag your board down as you are paddling down the face, you realise that it takes more than an easy drop in to get a good one. Still, it’s got to be done if the swell looks epic!
