Jupiter Waterman’s Challenge 2026: Multi-Craft Downwind Test Returns to Florida

The 2026 Jupiter Waterman’s Challenge took place in January off Florida’s Atlantic coast, bringing together a diverse field of ocean athletes for a 10-mile downwind run from Phil Foster Park to Corners Beach in Jupiter.

Designed as a true waterman event rather than a single-discipline race, the challenge welcomed competitors across Downwind SUP, Wing Foil, Parawing, Kite, Surf Ski and OC1 outrigger canoe. With steady ocean bumps and a solid winter breeze, the course rewarded endurance, line choice and ocean awareness.
