The Last Paddler Standing race is underway, bringing together stand-up paddlers from around the world for one of the toughest endurance events in the sport. Unlike traditional races, this format is simple but brutal: athletes must complete a 3.33-mile loop every hour. At the start of each hour, the next loop begins — and the race continues until only one paddler is left who can still complete the loop on time.
After 48 hours of racing, the course distance increases to 4.9 miles, pushing competitors even deeper into the limits of stamina and mental resilience.
