SUP 11-City Tour 2025 – 5-Day Final Results

The legendary SUP 11-City Tour once again brought paddlers from around the world to Friesland for five days of racing through the canals, lakes, and historic towns of the Netherlands. Covering more than 200 kilometres across five consecutive stages, the event tested endurance, strategy, and mental grit in true ultra-distance fashion.

This year’s edition delivered intense competition across all categories, with standout performances from both international athletes and local Dutch paddlers. The 5-day race was completed between 10-14 September, 2025, and here are the results.

Men’s Solo

The men’s solo division saw a thrilling battle right to the end. Canada’s Tim Oliver claimed the overall victory with a total time of 22:40:28, just minutes ahead of Italian powerhouse Paolo Marconi. Dutch paddler Wietse de Boerrounded out the podium in third.

Women’s Solo

In the women’s solo race, Switzerland’s Andrea Forrer set the pace early and never looked back, finishing with a commanding win in 26:06:04. The Netherlands’ Froukje Wichgers-Marien secured second, while Hanneke de Jong, also from the Netherlands, completed the podium.

Masters 40+

The men’s masters category was fiercely contested, with Michael Barron (USA) taking the win in 23:52:09, closely followed by Andras Chlebovics (HUN) and Arnold den Ouden (NED), who finished within minutes of each other.

On the women’s side, the Diva 40+ crown went to the Netherlands’ Sietske De Wit-Steenbeek with a time of 29:41:37, ahead of Germany’s Juliane Neumann.

Grand Masters 50+

The experience of the 50+ categories shone through the canals. Switzerland dominated the men’s field, with Peter Mulhauser taking gold in 23:48:36 and compatriot Stéphane Guillermin in second. Denmark’s Henrik Carstensclaimed third.

For the Grand Diva 50+ women, France’s Emmanuelle Marcon took the top spot in 26:58:55, followed by Dorthe Nielsen (DEN) and Anita Bruins (NED).

Team Tandem

In the team tandem race, Loch SUP Tandem SUP from Great Britain proved too strong, clocking a winning time of 25:38:07. France’s Team Supteam300 took second place.

Touring & Prone

Alongside the competitive racers, dozens of paddlers completed the challenge in the solo tour category, while Romain Brunet (FRA) led the way in the prone division, finishing the five stages in 32:42:26.

The 2025 SUP 11-City Tour once again highlighted why this event is considered the “Tour de France of SUP.” With its blend of international elite competition and the welcoming spirit of the tour paddlers, Friesland’s waterways delivered another unforgettable chapter in SUP endurance racing.
