ISA Launches New StandUp Paddle Commission - Supporting the Sport’s Global Growth
The International Surfing Association (ISA) is proud to announce the formation of a new StandUp Paddle (SUP) Commission to further advance the development, technical elements, policies and promotion of SUP within the ISA and worldwide.
USA’s Candice Appleby, a five-time World StandUp Paddle and Paddleboard Champion and Pan American Games Gold Medalist, has been appointed to be the Chairwoman of the commission.
Jakob Faerch, ISA Executive Committee Member and President of Surf SUP Denmark, will serve as Ex Officio member.
The ISA SUP Commission will operate with the following objectives:
· To represent the interests of SUP to the ISA Executive Committee
· To ensure opinions are heard at the highest level of governance of SUP
· To proactively consider issues relating to SUP and give advice to the ISA on SUP-related matters
· To provide current and past international Athletes, Coaches, Managers, and Race Directors with the opportunity to contribute to the continuous development, evolvement and growth of the sport of SUP
· To liaise with Continental Federations, National Federations and other sporting organizations to enable the sharing of information, rules, judging and event structure
APP World Tour - Busan SUP Open
Taking place in Busan, Korea at Gwangalli Beach from the 4-6 October, 2024, the APP World Tour returned for its third year of the Busan SUP Open 2025. Shuri Araki and Duna Gordillo take the overall victory

Australian SUP Titles - New Champions Crowned
The 2024 Australian SUP Titles were held earlier in October at Phillip Island in Victoria. Champions were crowned across surfing and racing disciplines during the busy few days of competition. Click the link above the learn about the results and event recap.
Longboard SUP Revolution Event Entry - Bali Cosmic Experience
The Longboard SUP Revolution Cosmic Experience in Bali is back for 2025 and entries are now open! Held over the Easter weekend of 18 – 22 April, 2025 in Sanur, this event is sure to fill up fast.
The 2025 LSR Cosmic is going to be a cracker event. Enter early to avoid disappointment as they had to close entries early for 2024 given they were overwhelmed with the amount of crew wanting to be involved in the competition.
The Cosmic Experience is an all inclusive community longboard SUP event that will guarantee each competitor a truly Cosmic Experience like no other.
