Nordhausen SUP Race 2024 - Euro Tour SUP

Epic day of racing in Nordhausen, Germany for the fourth edition of Südharzer SUP Cup With fantastic weather over the weekend. The amazing clear water of the lake Sundhäuser made for some of the most exciting finishes this season.

On the women’s side Susak Molinero finally got a major grand slam win after a very strategic race and a fantastic sprint to the line in her best result in recent years. In second place was Kimberly Barnes who had a fantastic race, showing why she’s regarded as one of the world’s best and barely missed on the win by a few seconds. With one of the best strategies on the superlap Claudia Postiglione finished third almost surprising the top2 at the end. In 4th after a very consistent race was Emma Freja Pedersen closing out the Top5 was Sveva Sabato with a supremely impressive paddle from the 14year old.

The battle for the Men’s rave was an all out sprint with the Top4 side by side. Donato Freens finally got his win this season after countless podiums and showing his strength. In 2ndcame Blue Ewer after a very consistent race. In a super close battle separated by centimetres came Fernando Perez in third and in 4th Ole Schwarz with one of the best strategies after a solo paddle that almost saw him surprise everyone. Closing the Top5 was Asger Smidt showing he’s in great shape.
