Where to buy

A responsive and lively board that progressing foilers will love

Pros: Its length & width gives it good glide speed off the foil. Nose and rocker line shape works well for many foil disciplines. Freestylers will love its positive and lively feel in the air.

Cons: The less volume in the nose will make it harder to use for lower level riders or in choppier conditions. Touchdowns aren't as smooth as the Wingboard.

Consider buying if... you want a board to push harder and higher when winging. Or would love a board that has the ability to cross over into the surf more that the Wingboard.

It's smooth and easy, a great wing foil board for many

Pros: Touch downs and take offs are effortless. Great stability for its size. Lower deck really keeps you connected to your foil. Its large foil track allows for many different foil brands. Choice of blue or white in Lite Tech construction. Good price points.

Cons: What's not to like!... for wing foiling it does a great job.

Consider buying if... you're a beginner to intermediate winger wanting a board to progress easily. Or an advanced boarder that is not so interested in freestyle air moves.

What we say

It was great to get on the water and use the Wingboard and Take Off boards. With the sizes on paper looking very comparable across the ranges, understanding which board is right for you could be confusing. But after using them we could feel the big difference between the 2 board ranges and can understand why they’re both in the Starboard foil range.
