Perfect for kids who want to paddle that bit further and faster

Pros: Great straight line tracking with its large centre fin and two side fins. Being longer and not so wide it offers a good amount of glide. A great stiff board with a good construction.Amazing paper packaging.

Cons: The board and paddle could always be lighter and the central handle wasn’t in a perfectly balanced position.White deck pad!

Consider buying if... Your child wants to enjoy paddling further alongside you or you have a young teen that is wanting to get into paddling safely on their own.

The Prodigy is a fun board for kids wanting to get into all things SUP

Pros: This shorter, stable, 3 fin board offers something a bit different to other kids SUPs on the market. Looks great. Nice that it is offered without a pump. Izzy loved how manoeuvrable it was.

Cons: Not the lightest for its size. Its straight line tracking isn’t the best. The paddle is adequate but a keen younger super may want something smaller and less bulky. Too much plastic used to pack the new board up.

Consider buying if... You want your 5 to 12 year old to have loads of fun on the water and an easy introduction to SUP.
