SUP Gower Guide
Those nice folk at the SUP Hut have produced a handy guide for paddle spots in their patch.
Available from The SUP Hut shop, from the King Arthur Pub on the Gower and from the 360 Beach Cafe in Swansea. The guide unfolds to A3 size with a nice simple map of the Gower peninsula. All the beaches in the area are shown with RNLI flags on the ones with lifeguard cover and with places to park indicated with the blue parking symbol. Each area has a guide to the type of paddling available; from ‘Easy – dependant on wind and waves’, through ‘Moderate – Slight current in places’ to ‘Difficult – Currents and exposed water’.
On the other side is some basic information about boards and paddles and both sides feature important safety information.
If you’re heading to south west Wales this season it’s worth popping into the shop, to get one or it gives you a great excuse to go to the pub…
