Midweek SUP Events Review 08/05/13

Over the sunny bank holiday the South East SUP Amateur Series kicked off in tremendous style. Over 20 paddlers got involved throughout the day, joining in with the long distance race and sprint races. During the day Jay Manning offered pro coaching and showed off the great Fanatic demo fleet. A fantastic event for all ages and abilities. One 65 year old gentleman entered the race, having only stepped on a SUP for the first time the week before! It just goes to show that SUP racing at the grassroots level can be great fun and a good challenge, in an easy going environment with plenty of laughter and the occasional splash!
